Planning for a sustainable future in the Wet Tropics of north Queensland requires the participation of as many people as possible, including local farmers and landholders, interest and community groups, industries, lobbyists, and policy and decision makers.
The Sustainable Landscape Planning Project in the Wet Tropics project is involving people in a landscape planning process that aims to understand their future visions of landscapes in the Wet Tropics.
The photo montages below are based on ideas presented by local people and represent two possible landscape scenarios. They have been constructed to stimulate discussion in the local community about potential future landscape development. |
