(1) To remove the add-in and the associated main menu entry from the Excel menu bar, click POPTOOLS/REMOVE ADD-IN.
(2) To completely remove the package and all associated files, follow step (1) and then quit Excel and go to the control panel, select ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, then browse for POPTOOLS. An uninstallation icon is also installed on the START menu.
(3) If the PopTools menu does not disappear, right click the main Excel menu bar, choose "Customize", and then drag the PopTools menu from the main Excel menu bar.
Installed files: The setup program installs the following files, which
may be removed by hand if the uninstallation process fails.
(1) RANDEVS.DLL in the system directory (usually WINDOWS\SYSTEM or WINNT\SYSTEM32)
(2) POPTOOLS.XLA in a directory chosen during installation.
By default it is in the "Program files" directory under "PopTools"
(3) INSTALLATION.XLS in the directory selected during installation.
