AccuRate supports compliance with the energy efficient residential building design rules in the new 2006 Building Code of Australia.
>> It is distributed through Hearne Scientific Software.

AccuRate supports compliance with the energy efficient commercial building design rules in the new 2006 Building Code of Australia with a focus on energy consumption and cost.
>> It is distributed through Hearne Scientific Software.

Designcheck provides automated checking of designs against building codes. A pre-release version is available and the developers are seeking a commercial partner.
Contact: Dr Lan Ding
LCADesign (Life Cycle Analysis of Design) will enable building design professionals to make informed decisions on the environmental impact of commercial buildings by providing detailed environmental and cost measures for different materials, products and designs, automatically from their 3D CAD drawings. First prototype completed and tested. New pre-commercial version commencing soon.

"MOUSER" is an interactive training and resource package that provides decision support for the management of mouse plagues in Australia. The package, which is designed to operate from a CD-ROM run on a personal computer was developed by the CSE Rodent Management team. >> More

A comprehensive and versatile software package for extracting and displaying patterns in multivariate data. Note: sales and distribution of PATN have now been transferred away from CSE. >> More details on the PATN Web site
PopTools: (free for non commercial
use)
A versatile add-in for PC versions of Microsoft Excel (97,
2000 or XP) that facilitates analysis of matrix population
models and simulation of stochastic processes. It was originally
written to analyse ecological models, but has much broader
application. It has been used for studies of population dynamics,
financial modelling, calculation of bootstrap and resampling
statistics, and can be used for preparing spreadsheet templates
for teaching statistics.
